Intelligent Solutions to Complex Challenges

Looking for a Full Stack Development role that's a little different? Build software where great user experience meets real-world science, engineering and cutting-edge technology.

The Role

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to design and build intuitive, high-quality applications for our scientific and engineering technologies.

You'll work with real-time data from radiation detectors, imaging systems and sensors, transforming complex information into clear, responsive and highly functional user interfaces.

You'll work across the stack, from creating intuitive frontend experiences to developing the backend architecture that reliably moves data from our hardware and sensors to the user.

Working alongside software developers, physicists, hardware and embedded engineers, you'll be part of multidisciplinary teams developing complete technology solutions – giving you the opportunity to see your software interacting with real hardware in real-world applications.

We're looking for strong full-stack development skills, technical curiosity and the ability to understand complex systems.

We're a small, ambitious technology company, which means you'll have real responsibility, direct access to technical specialists and decision-makers, and the opportunity to see the impact of your work.

Responsibilities

  • Scientific UI/UX: Design and develop clear, intuitive and visually effective interfaces for scientific, imaging and engineering applications.
  • Real-Time Data: Develop interfaces capable of presenting multiple real-time data streams, including video, sensor information and imaging overlays.
  • Full Stack Development: Develop robust frontend and backend systems that reliably move and process data between hardware, services and the user interface.
  • System Architecture: Contribute to scalable software and system architectures suitable for production applications.
  • Integration: Develop and maintain APIs and interfaces between software, hardware and firmware components.
  • Software Quality: Apply good software engineering practices including testing, version control, CI/CD, security and performance optimisation.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Development: Work closely with software developers, physicists, hardware and embedded engineers to understand technical requirements and turn them into effective software solutions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
