Senior Full Stack Kotlin Developer
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid)
Salary: £57,000 - £86,000
A leading digital consultancy is looking for a Senior Full Stack Kotlin Developer to join its growing engineering team, working across complex digital transformation projects for public and private sector clients.
The Role
- Build secure, scalable and user-centred digital solutions.
- Develop backend services using Kotlin, Java and Spring Boot.
- Work with microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with product, design, data and delivery teams.
- Take ownership of CI/CD and deployment pipelines.
- Work with clients and stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges.
- Mentor and support junior engineers.

Essential Experience
- Strong Kotlin/JVM and Java experience.
- Spring Boot / Spring Framework.
- Microservices and REST APIs.
- AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
- CI/CD using Jenkins, Azure DevOps or similar.
- Exposure to Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js or Nunjucks.

Desirable
- GOV/NHS or consultancy experience.
