Senior Full Stack Kotlin Developer

Location: Glasgow (Hybrid)
Salary: £57,000 - £86,000

A leading digital consultancy is looking for a Senior Full Stack Kotlin Developer to join its growing engineering team, working across complex digital transformation projects for public and private sector clients.

The Role

  • Build secure, scalable and user-centred digital solutions.
  • Develop backend services using Kotlin, Java and Spring Boot.
  • Work with microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Collaborate with product, design, data and delivery teams.
  • Take ownership of CI/CD and deployment pipelines.
  • Work with clients and stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers.

Essential Experience

  • Strong Kotlin/JVM and Java experience.
  • Spring Boot / Spring Framework.
  • Microservices and REST APIs.
  • AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
  • CI/CD using Jenkins, Azure DevOps or similar.
  • Exposure to Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js or Nunjucks.
