Full-Stack Developer – Azure / .NET / React
Location: Wokingham, UK
Work Model: Office based – 5 Days onsite
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35)
Are you an experienced Full-Stack Developer with a strong background in.NET Core, React and Microsoft Azure? We're looking for a skilled developer to join a growing team and help build, deploy and maintain scalable, secure cloud applications capable of processing data at terabyte scale. You’ll work closely with Architects, DevOps Consultants and Developers to deliver robust applications, improve automation and ensure application reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework and React
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
- Develop and deploy scalable solutions using Microsoft Azure
- Work with Azure AKS, App Service, Azure SQL, Blob Storage and Azure API Management
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Automate build, testing and deployment processes
- Write comprehensive unit tests and maintain high code quality
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
- Optimise application and SQL query performance
- Implement monitoring using Azure Monitor, Application Insights and Log Analytics
- Work with Azure AD/Entra ID, MFA, RBAC and OAuth/OIDC/SAML
- Support application reliability, availability and performance across cloud environments
- Document technical decisions, architecture and key code flows
- Collaborate with Architects, DevOps engineers and development teams

Required Skills
- 6–8 years' experience in software/full-stack development
- Strong C# and .NET Core development experience
- Strong React experience
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Strong Entity Framework knowledge
- Experience developing REST APIs
- Strong SQL / Azure SQL Database experience
- Experience with Azure Blob Storage
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD
- Knowledge of AKS and Azure App Service
- Experience with Azure AD/Entra ID
- Strong understanding of cloud compute, storage, networking and security
- Experience supporting applications in production environments
- Strong troubleshooting, RCA and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have
- Python development experience
- Experience with Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates
- PowerShell and Git
- Azure API Management
- Experience with Application Insights and Log Analytics
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases
- Experience with MLOps and performance optimisation
- Familiarity with Parquet, JSON, NetCDF or GRIB data formats
- Azure Developer certification
