About The Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a FTSE 100 housebuilder for the position of Full Stack Developer specializing in Content Management Systems (CMS) and Digital Platforms. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic technology team responsible for delivering innovative digital solutions, customer-facing websites, and integrated web applications. As a key member of the development team, you will work on building scalable, high-performance web applications utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks and cloud technologies. The position is fully remote, providing flexibility and the chance to collaborate with a global team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing and enhancing digital content platforms, integrating various media and content management systems, and contributing to the evolution of a modern digital landscape. You will be involved in the full development lifecycle, from conception and design to deployment and maintenance, ensuring the delivery of seamless digital experiences for users. Your expertise will help shape the future of the company's digital ecosystem, making a tangible impact on customer engagement and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a strong technical background and relevant industry experience, including:
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, Software Engineer, or Web Developer with a focus on content-driven websites and digital platforms.
- Deep understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Extensive experience working with REST APIs and GraphQL for data integration.
- Hands-on knowledge of Headless CMS platforms like Contentful, Sitecore XM Cloud, Contentstack, Builder.io, Strapi, Sanity, or similar systems.
- Familiarity with content modeling, CMS configuration, and content delivery mechanisms.
- Experience working with Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms, media libraries, or enterprise content systems.
- Understanding of web performance optimization techniques and Content Delivery Networks (CDNs).
- Experience integrating CMS solutions with business systems and third-party services.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong grasp of modern development practices including Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), DevOps principles, and Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
The role involves a broad range of responsibilities aimed at delivering high-quality digital solutions:
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Next.js, Node.js, and other modern JavaScript technologies.
- Design and implement integrations with Headless CMS platforms, ensuring seamless content delivery and management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, content creators, and product managers to deliver engaging digital experiences.
- Configure and optimize CMS and DAM platforms for performance, scalability, and content personalization.
- Implement best practices for web performance, security, and accessibility.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing to foster a collaborative development environment.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, including automation, testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
