About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer (DV Cleared) to join our dynamic team in London, Bristol, or Manchester on a hybrid basis. This pivotal role involves designing, developing, and maintaining secure digital solutions tailored for Defence and Security clients. The ideal candidate will possess an active DV clearance and be proficient in full stack development, with a focus on creating scalable, high-performance applications that underpin mission-critical operations. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including product owners, designers, and architects, to deliver innovative, user-centered solutions leveraging modern technologies and cloud platforms. Your expertise will contribute to the development of secure APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications, ensuring the delivery of robust and efficient systems that meet stringent security standards.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong technical background with experience in full stack development. Essential qualifications include proficiency in modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, and back-end technologies like Java, C#, Python, or Node.js. Candidates should have a solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and cloud deployment, particularly within secure or regulated environments. Experience with version control systems like Git, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, testing methodologies, and Agile delivery processes is required. A proven track record of troubleshooting, performance optimization, and security compliance is essential. Additionally, candidates must hold an active DV clearance, with the ability to work within highly sensitive environments.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain comprehensive full stack applications across both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Create secure, scalable, and high-performing web applications and services tailored for Defence and Security projects.
- Collaborate effectively with product owners, designers, architects, and delivery teams to produce user-centric solutions.
- Develop and integrate APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications to enhance system capabilities.
- Contribute to solution architecture, technical design, and the selection of appropriate technologies to meet project requirements.
- Implement best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, automated testing, version control, and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, security vulnerabilities, and operational stability.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.
- Support ongoing continuous improvement initiatives, mentoring junior team members, and sharing knowledge across teams to foster a collaborative learning environment.
