About The Role
We are seeking two experienced Full Stack Developers at mid-level (React, Node) to join our client's dynamic Product Development team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely within the UK, contributing to the development of cutting-edge digital platforms. As a key member of the team, you will be instrumental in rebuilding and enhancing web platforms, backend systems, and APIs, while also maintaining and improving existing applications that serve both internal and customer-facing needs. This position is ideal for developers passionate about modern software engineering practices, eager to make a tangible impact, and looking to grow within a progressive and collaborative environment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in full-stack development with proficiency in React and Node.js. Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries is essential, along with familiarity with cloud services such as AWS. Knowledge of databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL is also required. While not mandatory, experience with Ruby (non-Rails environment) and testing tools such as Jest and Cypress will be considered advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to development. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if equivalent practical experience is demonstrated.

Responsibilities
- Develop new software products and features utilizing modern engineering practices and frameworks.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve existing applications and backend services to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code to facilitate maintainability and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with other developers through paired programming, mob programming, and code reviews to promote best practices and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to a microservices-based architecture, ensuring seamless integration and communication between services.
- Participate in Agile development cycles, including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to support continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
