Full Stack Developer
Birmingham - £50,000-£60,000
Overview
We're looking for a Full Stack Developer to join a growing software business building and enhancing modern web applications used by customers across a range of industries.
This is an opportunity to join an engineering-led organisation that places a strong emphasis on continuous learning, collaboration and technical excellence. You'll work alongside experienced engineers in an environment that actively supports skill development and career progression.
The Role
As a Full Stack Developer, you'll contribute to the design, development and maintenance of scalable applications, working across both backend and frontend technologies.
You'll be involved throughout the software development lifecycle, collaborating closely with fellow engineers to deliver high-quality solutions and drive product improvements.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and enhance backend services using PHP and Symfony.
- Build modern, responsive user interfaces using TypeScript.
- Design and develop scalable APIs and application integrations.
- Work with cloud infrastructure hosted on AWS.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver new features and improvements.
- Contribute to the architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
- Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Skills and Experience
- Commercial experience developing applications with PHP.
- Strong experience with the Symfony framework.
- Frontend development experience using TypeScript.
- Experience working with AWS cloud services.
- Experience building and consuming APIs.
- Understanding of software engineering best practices and modern development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
