SKWKY builds AI-mediated conversations designed to help people navigate real conflict in a constructive way. The platform provides a structured space for two individuals to work through disagreements, guided by an intelligent real-time engine that measures how the conversation is progressing. By combining conversational AI with behavioral insights, SKWKY aims to improve how people resolve disputes and communicate under stress. The team focuses on creating tools that are practical, ethical, and user-centered, offering meaningful applications across personal, workplace, and community contexts.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid Full-stack Developer role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for some work from home. The Full-stack Developer will design, build, and maintain end-to-end web applications that power SKWKY’s AI-mediated conversation platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role also involves collaborating with product and design teams to translate user needs into technical solutions, reviewing code, improving development processes, and participating in testing, deployment, and monitoring of features in production.

Qualifications

  • Strong front-end development skills, including experience with modern frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
  • Proficiency in back-end web development, including building and maintaining APIs, services, and databases.
  • Solid software development and full-stack development skills, with experience delivering production-ready applications.
  • Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
  • Knowledge of web security best practices, performance optimization, and testing methodologies.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid environment in the London Area, with effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with AI-driven products, real-time systems, or conversational platforms is a plus.
