About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Software Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to building the next generation of data analysis tools and infrastructure for our esteemed Accident Repair Network. This role is integral to our growth and success, focusing on enhancing our bespoke IT system, Evolve, which is hosted in a cloud environment. The successful candidate will report directly to the Development Team Manager and will work closely with both internal and external development teams to improve the efficiency and capabilities of our systems.
The primary responsibilities include:
- Developing new features
- Maintaining existing systems
- Ensuring seamless integration across various technologies
The role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud-based solutions, collaborate across multiple disciplines, and influence the technological direction of our organization.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a strong background in software development, with proficiency in the Microsoft technology stack. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Relevant experience in developing cloud-hosted applications, especially within Azure, is highly desirable. Candidates should have a solid understanding of C#, .NET, Angular, Entity Framework, and Azure DevOps. Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work effectively within an Agile environment, and strong communication skills are essential. Prior experience collaborating with third-party suppliers and working across web, mobile, API, backend, and database technologies will be advantageous.

Responsibilities
- Develop new products and features end-to-end using C#, .NET, Angular, Entity Framework, and Azure DevOps, ensuring high quality and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with internal development teams and external partners to maximize system performance and integration capabilities.
- Maintain and enhance the existing Evolve system, ensuring it remains robust, secure, and aligned with business needs.
- Build strong relationships with third-party suppliers and partners to facilitate seamless project delivery and innovation.
- Work across a diverse technology stack, including web applications, mobile apps, APIs, backend services, and databases hosted within Azure cloud environment.
- Address and remove delivery impediments by aligning with the Product Owner and adhering to organizational policies and guidelines.
- Live agile values and principles, serving as a role model for best practices within the development team.
- Provide technical guidance on system design, UI/UX considerations, and ensure the system meets all functional and non-functional requirements.
- Engage with industry events, forums, and stakeholders such as insurers to share learning and stay updated on industry trends and innovations.
