About The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing, developing, and enhancing our websites, booking systems, applications, and backend platforms. Your expertise will be instrumental in taking our digital infrastructure to the next level as the company continues its growth trajectory. The ideal candidate will be proficient in WordPress, Laravel, PHP, JavaScript, and Vue.js, with a strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for improving systems. You will work closely with the director and marketing team to identify opportunities for system enhancements, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement practical solutions that support business operations effectively.

This position offers a unique opportunity to become an integral part of the company’s technological development. You will have the chance to work on diverse projects ranging from website maintenance and backend system improvements to app development and third-party integrations. The role requires a hands-on, reliable individual who can work independently, take ownership of projects, and collaborate effectively with various teams to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of commercial experience in PHP, including Laravel and WordPress development
  • Proficiency in WordPress development, including editable backend/admin areas
  • Strong experience with Laravel, including Blade templates and Forge
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, Stylus, Sass, and Tailwind CSS
  • Experience with MySQL and database management
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, particularly Vue.js
  • Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control
  • Experience working within Linux server environments, especially CentOS and Ubuntu
  • Ability to troubleshoot server, hosting, and security issues effectively
  • Experience with backend booking systems or similar internal platforms
  • Knowledge of API integrations and connecting systems with third-party platforms
  • Understanding of website security tools such as Cloudflare and best security practices

Additional beneficial experience includes Apache Cordova, Capacitor.js, Electron, mobile app deployment, and integrations with communication and operational software like RingCentral, CRM, and payment systems.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, improve, and develop company websites built on WordPress and Laravel frameworks
  • Enhance backend booking systems and create editable admin areas for efficient management
  • Build and improve internal tools used by the office and bookings team
  • Work on frontend enhancements using HTML, CSS, Sass, Stylus, and Tailwind CSS
  • Troubleshoot bugs, errors, and technical issues across websites and applications
  • Manage Linux server environments, including CentOS and Ubuntu, ensuring optimal performance and security
  • Assist in resolving server, hosting, Cloudflare, and security-related issues
  • Support app development, updates, and deployment to Apple’s App Store and Google Play
  • Utilize Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development workflows
  • Integrate booking systems with third-party platforms such as RingCentral and other operational software
  • Develop and improve API integrations to facilitate seamless communication between systems
  • Provide IT support to the wider office team as needed
  • Collaborate with the director and marketing manager to identify system enhancements and implement practical solutions
  • Participate in long-term projects and daily operational tasks to support business growth
