About The Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior / Lead Full Stack Developer to join our talented development team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications that meet our clients' needs. You will be responsible for leading technical initiatives, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both frontend and backend development, with proven leadership capabilities to guide the team through project lifecycles. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects within a collaborative environment, utilizing the latest technologies and methodologies.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess a minimum of six years of hands-on software development experience, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of full stack development. Prior experience in mentoring or leading junior engineers for at least 12 months is essential. Candidates must have proficiency in key technical areas including ReactJS, Next.js, Node.js, ASP.NET (C#), and familiarity with spatial data management. Strong knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and C# is required. Experience working with various databases, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, is necessary. Additionally, candidates should be familiar with designing and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL, along with testing frameworks like Jest. Cloud infrastructure experience, particularly with AWS, DevOps practices, and tools like Github, Jira, Confluence, and M365, will be advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as is the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Candidates must also be eligible to live and work in the UK without restrictions.

Responsibilities
- Designing scalable and efficient software solutions that align with client requirements and industry best practices
- Leading the development and deployment of web applications, ensuring code quality, performance, and security standards are maintained
- Mentoring junior team members, providing guidance on technical challenges, and fostering their professional growth
- Collaborating closely with project managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications
- Participating in code reviews, maintaining documentation, and implementing testing strategies to ensure robust solutions
- Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements to existing systems and processes
- Driving projects forward and ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget
