About The Role

Erin Associates is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Stack Developer to join their dynamic technical team based in Blackburn. This role offers a hybrid working model, providing flexibility to balance remote work with on-site collaboration. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in leading the design and development of scalable web applications and platforms that drive business growth and enhance user experience. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for defining architectural standards, developing high-quality code, and improving deployment pipelines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, marketing, and leadership, to deliver innovative solutions. Additionally, mentoring junior developers and conducting thorough code reviews will be key aspects of this role, ensuring the team maintains high standards of coding and best practices.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a solid background in full-stack web development, with proven experience in building scalable and maintainable applications. Essential qualifications include proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, along with hands-on experience using modern frameworks such as React. A strong understanding of front-end architecture and best practices is required, as well as familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, a passion for technology, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, although equivalent industry experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Define and establish architecture and development standards to ensure high-performance and maintainable codebases.
  • Develop and enhance scalable front-end and back-end components using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
  • Improve deployment pipelines, engineering practices, and CI/CD workflows to streamline development and release cycles.
  • Collaborate with product, leadership, and marketing teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Mentor junior developers by providing guidance, support, and conducting thorough code reviews to uphold coding standards.
  • Oversee integrations with third-party APIs, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.
  • Identify and implement performance optimization strategies across applications and platforms.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development practices.
