About The Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join their dynamic software engineering team on a permanent basis. This role is pivotal in developing cutting-edge applications that support large-scale, mission-critical operations. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the technical direction of the company's next-generation software platform, utilizing modern technologies such as.NET, React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL. Working in a collaborative environment alongside experienced professionals including software engineers, architects, project managers, and subject matter experts, you will have the opportunity to influence architectural decisions, implement innovative solutions, and deliver high-quality software products. This position offers a hybrid/remote working model based in Northamptonshire, with a competitive salary package ranging from £60,000 to £70,000, reflecting the value placed on technical expertise and experience.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development with a focus on full stack technologies. Key qualifications include:
- A proven track record of developing with C# and.NET
- Experience in building modern web applications using React and TypeScript
- A solid understanding of designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Good knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
- Comprehensive understanding of software engineering principles, including testing, maintainability, and scalable architecture
- Experience working within Agile development environments
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence
- A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience
Responsibilities
- Design and develop modern web applications utilizing C#,.NET, React, and TypeScript to create intuitive and robust user interfaces.
- Build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance and security standards using PostgreSQL.
- Participate actively in software architecture discussions, contribute to technical design, and promote engineering best practices across the team.
- Write clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code, adhering to established coding standards and quality benchmarks.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, provide mentorship to junior developers, and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, streamline development workflows, and enhance tooling to increase productivity and quality.
- Work within Agile methodologies, utilizing tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage tasks, sprints, and documentation effectively.
