About The Role
Hays is currently seeking an SC Cleared Senior Full Stack Developer to join a dynamic and business-critical engineering team on a remote basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced developers to lead impactful projects, providing technical leadership throughout the development lifecycle. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery, enhancement, and operational stability of platform services, ensuring high-quality software solutions are developed and maintained in a secure and efficient manner. The position is a contract role with a duration of 6 months or longer, offering competitive daily rates inside IR35.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in full-stack development with proven experience in enterprise-level applications. Essential qualifications include proficiency in C#,.NET, and Entity Framework, with a solid understanding of REST APIs and microservice architecture. Experience working with React and JavaScript (Vue.js is desirable) is required, along with familiarity with AWS cloud services, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. Candidates must have experience leading development teams, conducting code reviews, and mentoring engineers. Knowledge of PostgreSQL, SOLID principles, and secure coding practices is essential. SC clearance is mandatory for this role, ensuring compliance with security and confidentiality standards.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications using modern technologies such as C#,.NET, React, and Vue.js.
- Leading the delivery of complex work packages, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Designing microservice-based solutions in cloud environments, supporting solution architecture decisions.
- Developing robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
- Conducting thorough code reviews, promoting engineering excellence.
- Supporting the team in resolving complex platform issues.
- Supporting operational resilience, incident management, and service improvement initiatives.
- Mentoring junior developers and providing technical guidance within Agile teams.
