About The Role
167 Solutions Ltd is seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Developer to join its forward-thinking, AI-focused team based in Bristol. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a developer passionate about working at the forefront of artificial intelligence, generative AI, and data-driven solutions. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying full stack applications using TypeScript and AWS cloud services. The role emphasizes rapid prototyping, innovative development, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to bring new AI-driven products to life.

Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess a minimum of three years' commercial experience in software development, demonstrating proficiency in full stack development with TypeScript. Experience working with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and DynamoDB is essential. A strong background in rapid prototyping, AI, and generative AI tools is highly desirable. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and stakeholder management is also important. Desirable qualifications include experience with modern front-end frameworks like React or Next.js, knowledge of LLM APIs, Gen AI frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and data analytics tools. A portfolio or GitHub showcasing side projects, prototypes, or relevant work is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy comprehensive full stack applications utilizing TypeScript for both front-end and back-end components.
- Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud-native solutions on AWS, ensuring high availability and security.
- Rapidly prototype new ideas and proofs of concept, leveraging AI and generative AI tooling to accelerate development cycles ("vibe coding").
- Integrate AI, generative AI, and data-driven features into products to enhance functionality and user experience.
- Participate actively in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and iterative delivery cycles.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and data teams to translate ideas into functional software solutions.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and demonstrate progress through demos and presentations.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, contributing to peer reviews and continuous improvement efforts.
- Explore and adopt new tools, frameworks, and AI capabilities to improve development velocity and product quality.
- Take ownership of features from initial concept through to production, including ongoing iteration and refinement.
