Job Description
You will join a high-velocity, senior team of 13 to build the future of AI-assisted language learning. Using React, TypeScript, and AWS serverless, you’ll own features from conception to production for 80 million global users. You’ll champion AI-enabled development, using tools like Cursor and Claude Code to accelerate shipping and product innovation.

What You Will Do
- Build and ship end-to-end features using React and TypeScript on the frontend and AWS serverless technologies on the backend.
- Implement AI-powered learning features such as real-time speaking practice and automated content generation to transform the user experience.
- Utilize and experiment with AI development tools to push the pace of what a small, senior engineering team can achieve.
The ideal candidate
- Proven experience building scalable applications with React, TypeScript, and AWS serverless infrastructure including Lambda, DynamoDB, and GraphQL.
- A deep enthusiasm for AI-assisted development and a track record of integrating AI tools into your personal or professional coding workflow.
- A self-starting builder who thrives in fully remote environments and is passionate about solving complex problems in the language learning space.
