Company Overview

V Care 24 is a dedicated provider of specialist care services, committed to delivering person-centered support across various sectors. Recognized by regulatory bodies for excellence, we operate residential care homes, secure patient transport, and educational programs, all tailored to meet individual needs with compassion and professionalism.

Job Summary

At VCare24, technology is not just about systems. It is about improving outcomes for vulnerable people and enabling frontline colleagues to spend more time delivering care and support.

This role is central to VCare24’s move away from fragmented SaaS tools and disconnected processes. The developer will help identify where internal systems can replace existing applications, where retained SaaS platforms need reliable integrations, and where automation can reduce duplicate data entry, improve reporting and give staff better tools to support care, education, transport and operational services.

The Senior Full Stack Developer will be a hands-on engineering role, focused on designing, developing and supporting high-quality applications, APIs and integrations. This is not a purely strategic architecture role, a large-team management role or a role focused only on configuring SaaS products. The successful candidate will be expected to write code, solve practical operational problems, build maintainable internal systems and create integrations that reduce fragmentation across VCare24’s digital environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain modern full stack applications using Microsoft technologies.
  • Build APIs, integrations and services that connect business systems and improve data flow.
  • The role must approach development with security, privacy and safeguarding in mind. Internal systems and integrations should be designed to protect VCare Group information through appropriate access controls, audit trails, secure authentication, data minimisation, retention awareness and clear operational ownership.
  • Support the modernisation and replacement of legacy applications, with a focus on safe, incremental delivery.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision making.
  • Participate in code reviews and promote readable, testable and maintainable code.
  • Support automated testing, CI/CD and continuous improvement practices.
  • Use Azure DevOps, Git and release processes to support reliable software delivery.
  • Contribute to data migration, reporting and system integration activities where required.
  • Produce clear, proportionate technical documentation to support maintainability and handover.
  • Stay informed about emerging development practices, including responsible use of AI-assisted coding tools where appropriate.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
