Meet the Team

Core to the health and growth of Millennium’s business, the Information Technology organization develops flexible, scalable technology and advanced proprietary systems, including the next generation of analytical and trading capabilities. Within this organization, the Meteorite Web team builds applications that deliver intraday positions, P & L, and risk data to Portfolio Managers, investment teams, and business management. The team partners with Product Managers and business stakeholders to develop reliable, high-performing tools for a data-intensive trading environment.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, test, and support full-stack features for the Meteorite Web platform
  • Partner with Product Managers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions
  • Engage with end users to understand workflows and improve the product experience
  • Develop backend services and data integrations using Java and Python
  • Build modern web interfaces using Angular, React, and related technologies
  • Work with PostgreSQL and contribute to the planned integration of ClickHouse for analytical workloads
  • Improve the platform’s performance, reliability, observability, and engineering practices
  • Own features end to end, from technical design and implementation through testing and production delivery

What You Bring

  • Strong software engineering experience with Java and/or Python
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
  • Experience building web applications, APIs, or distributed systems
  • Familiarity with Angular, React, or modern JavaScript and TypeScript development
  • Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to take work from technical design through production delivery
  • Clear communication skills and experience collaborating with Product Managers, engineers, and business stakeholders
  • Experience with financial systems, intraday P & L, positions, risk, or ClickHouse is beneficial but not essential
