About The Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our client's dynamic software engineering team on a permanent basis. This role is based in Northamptonshire with a hybrid/remote working arrangement, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining modern, scalable applications that support large-scale, mission-critical operations. You will work closely with a talented team of software engineers, architects, project managers, and subject matter experts to deliver innovative solutions that address complex real-world challenges.

This position offers an exciting chance to influence the technical direction of the organization, contribute to architectural decisions, and develop high-quality software using modern technologies such as.NET, React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development with a focus on full-stack technologies. Candidates should have:

  • Significant commercial experience developing applications using C# and the.NET framework.
  • Proficiency in building modern web applications with React and TypeScript.
  • Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Good understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
  • A solid grasp of software engineering principles, including testing, maintainability, and code quality.
  • Experience working within Agile development environments, utilizing tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:

  • Designing and developing modern, scalable web applications using C#,.NET, React, and TypeScript.
  • Building robust backend services and RESTful APIs to support application functionality.
  • Contributing to the overall software architecture, technical design, and engineering best practices.
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Participating in code reviews and providing mentorship to junior developers to foster technical growth.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs and project goals.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across development processes, tooling, and platforms.
  • Working within Agile methodologies, actively contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
