About The Role
We are seeking two mid-level Full Stack Developers with expertise in React and Node.js to join our client's expanding Product Development team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely within the UK, contributing to the development of cutting-edge digital platforms. As a key member of the team, you will be instrumental in rebuilding and enhancing web platforms, backend systems, and APIs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable software solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain both internal and customer-facing applications, playing a vital role in shaping the future of the company's products.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in full-stack development with proficiency in JavaScript frameworks and cloud technologies. Relevant qualifications include a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience with React, Node.js, and modern testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress is essential. Familiarity with AWS services including EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, and SQS is highly desirable. Knowledge of databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL is also required. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment. An openness to learning new technologies and adapting to evolving project needs is crucial.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new software products and features utilizing modern engineering practices.
- Maintain, optimize, and enhance existing applications and backend services to ensure performance, security, and reliability.
- Write clean, well-tested, and thoroughly documented code to facilitate maintainability and scalability.
- Engage in collaborative development practices such as paired programming and mob programming to foster knowledge sharing and code quality.
- Contribute to a microservices-based architecture, ensuring seamless integration and communication between services.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies to support continuous improvement processes.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continually improve development processes and product quality.
