Location: Salisbury (Hybrid working, 1-2 days in office)

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)

Level: Mid-Weight (1–3 years of experience or strong equivalent portfolio)

About the Role

We are looking for a practical, solutions-focused Full Stack Developer to join our team and help build our next-generation internal software platform from the ground up. In this role, you will play a key part in connecting our existing business systems, data sources, and third-party tools into a single, cohesive, custom-built web application. You won't just be maintaining existing code—you will have real input into how we architect, integrate, and present our business data. This is an ideal role for an ambitious developer with strong fundamentals who wants end-to-end ownership of projects, from database design and back-end API integration through to user-friendly front-end interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • API & Systems Integration: Connect disparate external and internal systems, databases, and third-party software into a centralised platform via RESTful APIs and webhook integrations.
  • Back-End Development: Design and build efficient server-side logic, data pipelines, and internal endpoints primarily using Python (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, or Django).
  • Database Management: Write clean, optimised SQL queries and assist in structuring database schemas (PostgreSQL / MySQL) to consolidate data effectively.
  • Front-End Development: Build clean, responsive, and intuitive web interfaces and dashboards using HTML5, CSS, and modern JavaScript.
  • System Architecture & Testing: Work with key stakeholders to map out data flows, write testable code, and ensure data security and platform stability.
  • Documentation & Version Control: Maintain clear technical documentation and manage codebase versioning via Git.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
