About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Software Developer to join our dynamic team at ISR Information Products AG. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the ongoing development and enhancement of our flagship product, Buildsimple, an AI-powered platform for intelligent document processing. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing features within our SaaS application, leveraging cloud infrastructure, modern frameworks, and best practices in software engineering. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of AI, cloud computing, and software development, contributing directly to the evolution of our innovative platform. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including machine learning specialists and product managers, is central to your daily responsibilities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet customer needs and industry standards.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in software development with a minimum of two years of professional experience. Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript is essential, along with a good understanding of agile methodologies and test-driven development practices. Experience working with microservices architecture, relational databases such as PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases like DynamoDB or Elasticsearch is highly desirable. A keen interest in modern cloud technologies and DevOps practices, including Infrastructure as Code, will set you apart. Excellent communication skills in German (minimum C1) and English (minimum B2) are required, enabling effective collaboration within our international team. A proactive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and enthusiasm for learning new technologies are also key attributes for success in this role.
Responsibilities
As a Software Developer at ISR Information Products AG, your core responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to the continuous development and refinement of our Buildsimple platform.
- Designing and implementing new features.
- Optimizing existing software architecture.
- Improving development processes and CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment cycles.
- Translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Designing and maintaining public and internal APIs.
- Ensuring the scalability and robustness of our SaaS application.

Depending on your focus, you may engage in:
- Backend development with Java and Spring Boot.
- Full-stack development utilizing JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Material UI.
Close collaboration with the Machine Learning team will enable you to integrate AI components effectively into the platform, enhancing its capabilities and performance.
