Full Stack Developer - London - Energy Trading
Role Summary
Aubay UK is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join a Trading & Supply technology team on a 6 month+ Contract Inside IR35 engagement. The role focuses on designing, developing and delivering scalable, high performance full stack applications, cloud-native services and data-driven solutions. The successful candidate will contribute to technical leadership, architecture decisions, mentoring and the delivery of business critical digital products within a complex enterprise environment.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 6-10+ years of professional full stack development experience
- Strong experience with React, Angular or Vue
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Back end development experience with Node.js, .NET, Java or Python
- Experience building REST APIs and/or GraphQL services
- Strong SQL and NoSQL database knowledge
- Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or Jenkins
- Strong problem solving and stakeholder communication skills
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Docker and Kubernetes experience
- Microservices and event-driven architecture experience
- Serverless technology exposure
- OAuth2, SSO and secure coding knowledge
- Experience mentoring developers
- DataBricks experience
- Power BI experience
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain scalable full stack applications
- Build APIs, microservices and system integrations
- Develop responsive and high performing user interfaces
- Support architecture and technology strategy decisions
- Create technical designs and solution documentation
- Implement development standards and reusable components
- Support CI/CD automation and cloud deployments
- Monitor, optimise and improve application performance
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and participate in Agile ceremonies
