About The Role

If you are a Full Stack Developer with 1+ years' experience as a Full Stack Developer, we have an exciting new role we would like to discuss with you. You'll be working on a new platform that guides consumers through the complete online customer journey, from their first visit through identity verification, e-signature, and submission. As a Junior Full-Stack JavaScript Developer, you'll contribute across a React front end, Node.js services, and Microsoft SQL Server. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on customer-facing features, develop your technical skills, and gain valuable experience in building reliable software for a regulated consumer environment.

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates with a solid foundation in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, demonstrated through professional work, academic courses, apprenticeships, or personal projects. Practical experience with React, including components, props, state, hooks, and forms, is essential. A basic understanding of how web applications communicate with REST APIs and how front-end and back-end code integrate is required. Knowledge of SQL, particularly selecting, joining, inserting, and updating data, is preferred, with experience in SQL Server being advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates should have an awareness of automated testing methodologies and be eager to learn how to write maintainable and effective tests. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly are vital. Reliability, curiosity, and a genuine interest in developing as a full-stack engineer are highly valued.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
