About The Role
A UK-based business within the IT and app development sector is seeking to hire a remote Full Stack Developer on a permanent basis through DBCharles Recruitment. The company specializes in software development services and product offerings across various channels, with a particular emphasis on the transportation industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative web and data technologies that enhance the company's service delivery and client satisfaction.
The Full Stack Developer will report directly to the Lead Developer and work alongside a team of approximately ten professionals. The role involves engaging in both front-end and back-end development tasks, collaborating with clients and internal teams, and contributing to the full lifecycle of software projects. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing new technological solutions, updating and enhancing existing systems, participating in client and internal meetings, and ensuring project deadlines and KPIs are met. The role demands a proactive approach, strong technical skills, and the ability to handle a diverse range of web and data technologies effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Full Stack Developer, Software Developer, or in a similar IT role.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is highly advantageous.
- Proven expertise in NodeJS development.
- Experience working with databases such as MySQL or similar.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like VueJS, Angular, or React.
- Understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
- Proficiency with GIT version control system.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Must be based in the UK to comply with remote work requirements.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and deploying new web and data solutions to meet client needs.
- Maintaining and enhancing existing applications to improve functionality and performance.
- Collaborating with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Participating actively in project meetings, providing updates on progress and challenges.
- Adhering to project deadlines and KPIs to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
- Handling a wide array of web and data technologies, demonstrating versatility and expertise.
- Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code to ensure maintainability and scalability.
- Engaging in code reviews and team knowledge sharing to uphold quality standards.

Benefits
The company offers a competitive salary range between £40,000 and £45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. This role provides the flexibility of remote working, with standard working hours from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
