Senior Engineer - Full-Stack / Data
This is a senior-level engineering role focused on supporting the team's transition from Power BI to Databricks and building out a broader data and application capability.
The role combines full-stack development, data visualisation and API development, with experience across Databricks, Python, web development and APIs being particularly relevant. You'll be involved in designing and developing the technical infrastructure and API layers that sit behind applications, as well as proof-of-concept and early-stage solutions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
A key part of the role will be technical leadership without direct people management - mentoring and upskilling a relatively junior team, helping establish best practices around governance and compliance, and working closely with stakeholders to shape the team's future direction.
The first six months are expected to be particularly design and stakeholder-focused, helping define the vision, infrastructure and capabilities of the function and demonstrating how it can support the wider business.
