About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior / Lead Full Stack Developer to join our expanding team at Chameleon IT Solutions Limited. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications that meet our clients' needs. You will play a key role in guiding and mentoring junior developers, ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and deployment are adhered to across projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with extensive hands-on experience in both frontend and backend development, along with excellent leadership capabilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects within a collaborative environment, utilizing the latest technologies and methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 6 years' hands-on development experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of full stack development principles. Proven experience in mentoring or leading junior engineers for at least 12 months is essential. Candidates must have proficiency in key technologies including ReactJS, Next.js, Node.js, ASP.NET (C#), and familiarity with spatial data handling. Strong knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and C# is required. Experience working with various databases, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, is necessary. Familiarity with API development using RESTful services and GraphQL, along with testing frameworks like Jest, is also expected. Candidates should have a good understanding of cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and tools such as AWS, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft 365. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Eligibility to live and work in the UK without restrictions is a mandatory requirement.

Responsibilities
As a Senior / Lead Full Stack Developer, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing scalable, efficient, and secure web applications that align with client requirements
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and translate them into functional code
- Mentoring junior developers and providing technical guidance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
