Job Description
The Full Stack Developer will help design, build and maintain applications that support a broad ERP and technology transformation programme. Working across front-end and back-end development, the role will translate operational requirements into dependable solutions while ensuring that new applications connect effectively with Microsoft platforms, D365 and established business systems.
Success will involve delivering maintainable software, improving system connectivity and helping users gain greater value from the organisation’s technology landscape. Based in Preston, the position is suited to a developer who can combine hands-on engineering with a practical understanding of integrations, legacy environments and the needs of a complex manufacturing business.
The role offers scope to influence custom application development, contribute to architectural decisions and support the transition towards more connected enterprise processes. Regular collaboration with technical colleagues, business stakeholders and external partners will be essential to delivering secure, scalable and commercially relevant outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and enhance full stack applications that address business and operational requirements.
- Build, maintain and troubleshoot integrations involving Microsoft technologies and D365.
- Connect modern applications with legacy platforms while protecting data accuracy and process continuity.
- Contribute to the delivery of the wider ERP and digital transformation roadmap.
- Develop clean, testable and maintainable code across appropriate front-end and back-end technologies.
- Work with stakeholders to clarify requirements, assess technical options and define practical solutions.
- Investigate defects, resolve integration issues and improve application performance and reliability.
- Produce technical documentation and support effective knowledge transfer across the development environment.
Requirements
- Demonstrable professional experience delivering full stack software solutions.
- Strong capability across relevant Microsoft development technologies and enterprise application environments.
- Practical experience designing, implementing or supporting D365 integrations.
- Hands-on knowledge of MuleSoft or comparable integration platforms.
- Experience creating bespoke applications from business requirements through to deployment and support.
- Understanding of APIs, data flows, integration patterns and connectivity between modern and legacy systems.
- Ability to write structured, maintainable code and apply sound testing and troubleshooting practices.
- Clear communication skills, with the confidence to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
