Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our technology team.

This role is suited to a software engineer with extensive development experience, including Angular development and backend development using.NET Core/C#.

You will contribute to the design and delivery of software solutions, support technical decision-making, mentor colleagues and promote engineering best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain web applications using Angular and TypeScript.
  • Build and enhance backend services and APIs using.NET Core and C#.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects and Engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable, secure and maintainable software applications.
  • Support solution design, technical architecture and development standards.
  • Write clean, tested and reusable code following engineering standards.
  • Develop unit tests and support automated testing initiatives.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and support junior and mid-level developers through knowledge sharing.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues across the application stack.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and backlog refinement.

Qualifications

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Professional software development experience, including significant experience developing enterprise applications.
  • Experience developing applications using Angular (Angular 12+) and TypeScript.
  • Experience building enterprise-scale front-end applications.
  • Backend development experience using.NET Core / C#.
  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
  • Understanding of software architecture, design patterns and development best practices.
  • Experience working with SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience using source control systems such as Git.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
  • Experience writing unit and integration tests.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to technical delivery activities.
  • Analytical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorisation technologies including SSO, OAuth, OpenID Connect and SAML.
  • Experience with Power BI, data integration and ETL processes.
  • Experience supporting data migration or modernisation initiatives.
  • Awareness of AI-enabled applications, including LLMs and prompt engineering concepts.
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience mentoring colleagues and contributing to communities of practice.
