About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Stack Software Developer to join our dynamic remote-first team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications that directly impact animal welfare through innovative technology solutions. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in full stack development with proven experience in building scalable and maintainable web applications. You should have a solid understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks and backend technologies, along with excellent problem-solving skills. Relevant qualifications include a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and remote collaboration tools is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and a commitment to writing high-quality, secure code that adheres to best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Prisma ORM and SQL databases to ensure robust data management and system performance.
- Build reusable, efficient, and maintainable front-end components utilizing React and Next.js frameworks to deliver a seamless user experience.
- Develop comprehensive APIs to support both front-end interfaces and administrative systems, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange.
- Translate UX/UI wireframes into responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces compatible across devices and browsers.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and optimal system performance through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to security best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, features, user stories, and technical specifications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Work independently within a remote-first team environment, managing tasks effectively and delivering high-quality, maintainable code on schedule.
