About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer specializing in React and C# .NET to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. This role is pivotal within a major business transformation programme aimed at modernising platforms, enhancing data capabilities, and streamlining core business processes. As a senior member of the development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-scale solutions that span both front-end and back-end technologies. Your expertise will contribute significantly to data migration, system integration, and technical design activities, supporting the successful delivery of the project.
This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, requiring approximately one day per week in Birmingham, with flexibility based on project needs. The initial engagement is for three months, with potential for extension depending on project progression and organisational requirements. The daily rate is competitive at £500 outside IR35, reflecting the level of expertise and experience required for this critical role.

- Extensive commercial experience as a Full Stack Developer, demonstrating a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development.
- Proficiency in React and modern front-end development practices, with a focus on usability and performance optimization.
- Strong experience with C# and .NET frameworks, including API development and back-end service design.
- Proven track record working on enterprise-grade applications, with an emphasis on scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Experience with data migration, ETL processes, and system integrations, including designing and implementing data pipelines.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, data modelling, and data validation techniques.
- Experience contributing to technical design discussions, system architecture, and deployment strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable working within Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and collaborative development activities.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining modern web applications using React and C#/.NET technologies.
- Delivering high-quality, scalable front-end experiences that prioritize usability and performance.
- Building robust back-end services, APIs, and integration points to support enterprise applications.
- Supporting the full development lifecycle, including code reviews, testing, and deployment.
- Participating in data migration initiatives, including the design and implementation of ETL solutions and data pipelines.
- Collaborating with Architects and technical stakeholders to define solution architecture and system design.
- Contributing to technical assessments, feasibility studies, and environment setup for deployment.
- Engaging actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Refining business requirements into technical features, providing accurate estimates, and supporting work sizing exercises.
