About The Role
Brio Digital is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join their innovative team supporting a prominent consultancy. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in React and Python, coupled with a solid understanding of cloud-native architectures, particularly within AWS environments. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and operating scalable applications, contributing throughout the entire development lifecycle—from initial solution design to deployment, monitoring, and operational support. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability of the applications and infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience with React, including developing Micro Frontend applications using Module Federation.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming, with practical experience in building backend services.
- Deep understanding of AWS cloud services such as Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, WAF, DynamoDB, and S3.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform, for deploying and managing cloud infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of automated testing methodologies, including unit and integration testing, to uphold code quality and security standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in collaborative team environments.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain React-based Micro Frontend applications utilizing Module Federation to enable scalable and modular front-end architecture.
- Create and sustain Python backend services that support the application's core functionalities.
- Build and operate cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, WAF, DynamoDB, and S3 to ensure scalability, security, and performance.
- Develop infrastructure and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), automating provisioning and configuration management.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline build, testing, and deployment workflows, ensuring rapid delivery and high quality.
- Conduct automated unit and integration testing, contributing to overall code quality, security, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and delivery teams to interpret business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Monitor application and platform health, troubleshoot incidents promptly, and continuously seek improvements to optimize performance and reliability.
