Senior Full-Stack Developer (React / Node, TypeScript) OchoX client

Senior Full-Stack Developer, React (TypeScript) front end and Node.js (TypeScript) back end, on AWS

Fully remote, Northern Ireland based

Salary up to £50,000

Join an early-stage, newly funded EdTech SaaS platform and help shape their product roadmap

Direct collaboration with the co-founder, with real ownership from day one

About the Company

Our client is a UK-based EdTech SaaS platform helping schools strengthen the connection between teachers and parents, spanning parent-teacher meeting scheduling, video calls, pupil data and MIS integration. A small, ambitious team, they have just closed a fundraising round and are scaling their product and engineering function. They are ISO27001 certified and take data handling and security seriously across everything they build.

The Role

This is a core engineering role within a small, funded EdTech business, working fully remotely from Northern Ireland. You will work across the full stack, React (TypeScript) on the front end and Node.js (TypeScript) on the back end, backed by Postgres and running on AWS. This isn't a role where you're handed a ticket and told exactly what to build; you'll understand the why behind a feature, decide the best approach, build it well and make sure it works before it goes near production. You'll collaborate directly with a non-technical co-founder, so clear communication matters as much as clean code.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
