Full Stack Engineer - Node, JavaScript, React, TypeScript – London
Miller Maxwell is assisting an International proprietary trading organisation seeking to expand their UI team. This senior position will see the successful Full Stack Engineer working directly with front-office users to build customised software in a fast-paced, live trading environment. The team in place is a mix of Full Stack Engineers and UI Software Engineers, this hire will have the freedom to lead projects and take ownership of some very exciting green-field development projects starting in Q4 2027.
This team approaches tech and mathematical problems with a unique perspective, consistently pushing the boundaries of innovation.

Key Responsibilities for the Full Stack Engineer:
- Collaborate with an experienced front-office team to enhance their quantitative trading platform, focusing on back-end and front-end development.
- Build user interfaces for front-office users.
- Implement, modify, and configure platform improvements.
- Work closely with Java and C++ Software Engineers to design new platform features.
Requirements for the Full Stack Engineer:
- A degree in a STEM-related subject.
- At least 3 years commercial frontend development experience.
- Proven experience with TypeScript and React.
- Node.JS or Python experience.
- Ideally GraphQL experience.
- Demonstrable experience in building large-scale, data-driven platforms.
