About the Company

We’re hiring on behalf of an early-stage, product-led SaaS company building a collaboration and content-management platform for a global customer base.

The company has strong early market validation and is entering its next stage of product development. We’re looking for a mid-level Full-Stack Engineer who is product-minded, comfortable working across the stack and highly capable with modern AI development tools.

You’ll work closely with the technical leadership team, gain exposure to different parts of the business and play a meaningful role in shaping both the product and how it is built.

NOTE: Nexa is managing the shortlist and screening for our customer. Your first conversation will be with Nexa’s AI voice agent, with every recommendation reviewed by an experienced recruiter.

  • Start date: ASAP
  • Location: Remote-first and UK-based, with occasional team meetings in London
  • Right to work: Candidates must have the right to work in the UK
  • Salary: Dependent on experience
  • Equity: Employee share options are available

Technology

  • Frontend: React and Tailwind CSS
  • Backend: Python and Django
  • Database: PostgreSQL
  • Cloud: AWS, including Lambda, S3, Cognito and API Gateway
  • Delivery: GitHub Actions, infrastructure as code, containerisation and CI/CD
  • Development: Modern AI coding and product-development tools

What You’ll Do

  • Build and ship customer-facing features across the frontend and backend.
  • Turn customer needs and product ideas into effective technical solutions.
  • Work with Product, Design and technical leadership from discovery through to production.
  • Use AI copilots and coding agents to research, prototype, build, test and debug software.
  • Take ownership of features without waiting for completely specified tickets.
  • Contribute to architecture and AWS integrations.
  • Build responsive, mobile-first user experiences.
  • Write maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
  • Support deployments, monitoring and platform reliability.
  • Help improve engineering practices as the product and team grow.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What We’re Looking For

  • Around 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally within a SaaS, startup or product-led environment.
  • Strong experience with Python, ideally Django, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Good experience with React and modern frontend development.
  • Experience building and integrating APIs.
  • Practical experience deploying or supporting applications on AWS.
  • Confidence working across frontend, backend and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience delivering responsive, mobile-first products.
  • Strong product judgement—you consider the user, business outcome and technical trade-offs.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to make progress when requirements are incomplete.
  • Clear communication with technical and non-technical colleagues.

What “AI-Native” Means

We’re not simply looking for someone who occasionally asks an AI tool to generate code.

We want an engineer who has incorporated tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex or similar coding agents into their normal development workflow.

You should know how to use these tools to move faster across discovery, implementation, testing and debugging while still taking responsibility for code quality, security and maintainability.

We’d like to hear about:

  • Products or features you have built using AI development tools.
  • How you provide context and structure tasks for coding agents.
  • How you review and validate AI-generated code.
  • Where you believe AI improves engineering—and where human judgement remains essential.
  • Any prototypes, side projects or production workflows that demonstrate how you work.

You do not need to be a machine-learning engineer. We care more about how effectively you use modern AI tools to build excellent software.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with content, media or digital asset platforms.
  • Experience integrating AI-powered functionality into products.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code, containers and automated delivery pipelines.
  • Side projects demonstrating strong product instincts.

Why Join?

  • Join an ambitious, early-stage SaaS company with strong market validation.
  • Become an influential early member of the engineering team.
  • Work closely with the company’s technical leadership.
  • Build real features that reach customers quickly.
  • Work with autonomy and minimal bureaucracy.
  • Enjoy a flexible, remote-first environment.
  • Participate in an employee share option scheme.
  • Help shape the company’s product and engineering culture.

This role is ideal for an engineer who wants meaningful ownership, uses AI to improve how software is built and cares about creating products that customers genuinely value.

To apply or learn more, send me a message with your CV, LinkedIn profile and an example of something you have built using AI development tools.
