About The Role

Olo is seeking a skilled and motivated Fullstack Software Engineer to join its Catering team. This fully remote position is based within Northern Ireland, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the region. The role involves developing and maintaining scalable components and services that streamline catering order workflows, ensuring a seamless experience for users and stakeholders. As part of the team, you will work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. You will play a key role in enhancing system performance, reliability, and scalability, contributing to the company's mission of delivering innovative digital solutions for the restaurant industry.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development, with proficiency in C# and.NET framework. Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is essential. You should possess excellent problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with previous experience in building scalable web applications. Knowledge of cloud services, RESTful APIs, and database management is also advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using C# and.NET to support catering workflows.
  • Implement intuitive and responsive frontend interfaces utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Optimize system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of services.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to maintain code quality and integrity.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve system capabilities.
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team to foster a collaborative development environment.
