About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Hackajob Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our platform to ensure a seamless experience for users. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver scalable and efficient solutions. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a relevant master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in software development, preferably in web or platform-based environments.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar.
  • Experience with front-end and back-end development frameworks and technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud services, APIs, and database management systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and platform features.
  • Collaborate with product teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Identify and troubleshoot bugs or performance issues, implementing effective solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate innovative technologies into projects.
  • Assist in the deployment and integration of new features and updates.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues.
