About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Hackajob Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that enhance our platform's functionality and user experience. Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in software development, with proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, is essential. Familiarity with modern frameworks and tools like React, Angular, Node.js, or Django is highly desirable. Strong understanding of database management systems, RESTful API design, and cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure is preferred. Excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities are key qualities we seek. Prior experience working in agile environments and a passion for technology innovation will be considered advantageous.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software solutions that align with company goals. Key responsibilities include:
- Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Participating in code reviews
- Maintaining existing applications to ensure optimal performance
- Working closely with product teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Involved in testing and debugging applications to ensure reliability and security
- Continuous improvement of development processes
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
- Contributing to a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and mentoring junior developers when necessary
