About the Company

We're recruiting a Full Stack Developer for a software business. You'll join a small engineering team, working alongside the CTO on a new clinical-records product and an existing clinical transcription platform.

About the Role

Full Stack Developer | React, TypeScript & Node.js

  • IR35: Outside IR35
  • Location: Glasgow, hybrid with two days per week onsite
  • Duration: Initial six-month contract, with extension by agreement

This is a mid-level role where you'll own features from requirement through to production, with code review and support from the team. The core stack is React, TypeScript, Node.js and PostgreSQL, with services deployed on Google Cloud and in containerised on-premise environments.

Responsibilities

  • Build features across React interfaces, TypeScript backend services and workers, and the database layer.
  • Write and review SQL, data models, schemas and migrations for clinical and case data.
  • Create unit, integration and end-to-end tests, and maintain working CI/CD pipelines.
  • Deploy and support services on Google Cloud and in Docker-based on-premise installations.
  • Handle confidential data carefully, including access controls, audit trails, data residency and keeping personal data out of logs.
  • Take part in code reviews and keep technical documentation up to date.
  • You'll need to attend the Glasgow office two days per week.
  • The engagement will be through your own limited company.
  • Apply with your CV to discuss the role.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
