Senior Software Engineer – C# | Trading Technology
Location: London
The Client
Our client is a globally recognised investment firm where technology is central to the success of the business. They're continuing to invest heavily in engineering, cloud technologies and AI, giving developers the opportunity to build high-impact software used by teams across the organisation.
They're now looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their Compliance Technology team.
The Opportunity
You'll build modern applications supporting regulatory reporting, trade surveillance and pre/post-trade compliance across a global trading business.
Working closely with Compliance, Trading and Engineering, you'll design scalable software, solve complex technical challenges and help shape the next generation of business-critical platforms.

This is a hands-on engineering role with plenty of autonomy, modern tooling and exposure to AI-assisted development.
What You'll Need
- Strong commercial experience building applications in C#/.NET
- Excellent SQL skills
- Front-end development with React
- Exposure to Python and AWS is advantageous
- CI/CD, Agile and modern engineering practices
- Passion for writing clean, scalable software
- Financial services experience is beneficial but not essential
