🙋 ♂️ Full Stack Engineer – Python / React

📍Edinburgh - 1 day a week in office

💰£70,000 – £90,000

🤖 AI-Powered Computer Vision for Global Consumer Brands

I’m partnered with a fast-growing AI & Computer Vision company building technology that helps some of the world’s biggest consumer brands understand how their products are performing across physical retail.

Their platform uses advanced image recognition and AI to analyse real-world retail environments at huge scale, currently processing 1M+ images every month across customers globally.

They’re a ~25-person, engineering-led company with around half the business sitting across software engineering and machine learning, and they’re now looking for a Full Stack Engineer to strengthen their core product team.

🧠 What you’ll work on

  • Building and shipping features end-to-end, from the backend and data layer through to the customer-facing product
  • Developing scalable backend services and APIs using Python & FastAPI
  • Connecting backend systems with React / TypeScript applications
  • Building and maintaining integrations between the platform, internal services and customer systems
  • Owning your work through testing, deployment and production
  • Working closely with Machine Learning and customer-facing teams to turn complex AI technology into reliable products
  • Using AI coding tools and automation throughout your engineering workflow

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
