Full Stack Python Developer (Contract)
Location: London - Hybrid, 2 days/week on-site

Rate: £650–£750 per day
Overview
A global retail business is looking for a Full Stack Python Developer to join their technology team on an initial 6-month contract. This is a hands-on role building and maintaining customer-facing and internal platforms, working across the full stack with a Python-based backend. The role is hybrid, with 2 days per week required on-site at the client's London office.

- Design, build and maintain full stack web applications with a Python backend
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs
- Work across both backend services and frontend interfaces
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA and other engineers
- Write clean, tested, maintainable code and participate in code review
- Contribute to architecture and technical decision-making within the team
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack in a production environment
Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience as a Full Stack Developer with Python (Django or Flask)
- Solid frontend experience (React, Vue or similar JS framework)
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and API design
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD pipelines
- Comfortable working in an agile environment
- Experience in retail, e-commerce or high-traffic consumer platforms is advantageous
- Must be able to work on-site in London 2 days per week

Contract Details
- Duration: 6 months initial, likely extension
- Rate: £650–£750 per day (Inside IR35)
