Full Stack Developer | React | TypeScript | Tech for Good | Manchester Hybrid | £50,000 - £60,000
Do you want to build technology that genuinely makes a positive difference?
Are you looking to join a high-growth startup where you'll have real ownership, influence, and the opportunity to help shape both the product and engineering culture?
I'm currently partnered with a rapidly growing Tech for Good startup on a mission to make it easier for families to discover, book and manage enriching activities for children.
Founded by two parents, this platform helps to connect families with activity providers, community programmes and local organisations, encouraging children to spend more time learning new skills, staying active, and spending less time in front of screens.
The business has experienced exceptional growth, growing more than 10x since the start of the year and continuing to expand following a series of major new client wins 🚀
As a result, they're now looking to hire a Full Stack Developer to join their close-knit engineering team and help deliver the next phase of the product roadmap.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
