Full Stack Engineer - Product + AI focus

I'm working with a rapidly-growing UK B2C business looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join a lean, high-impact engineering team. You'll be building customer-facing products while helping shape how the team uses AI as a core part of the software development process.

This is a great opportunity for a full stack JavaScript/TypeScript engineer who wants genuine ownership, broad technical exposure and the chance to work in an increasingly AI-native engineering environment. The platform now boasts hundreds of thousands of customers in just a few years of operating, doing right by the customer is at the heart of everything they do.

The role

  • Build and iterate on customer-facing features, APIs and internal tooling using JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Work across frontend and backend, taking ownership from initial scoping through to delivery
  • Use AI as part of the development process to build, test and iterate on software
  • Write clear technical specifications and review outputs against requirements and architectural intent
  • Work with cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and deployment
  • Contribute to observability, monitoring, alerting and platform reliability
  • Support networking and infrastructure improvements where required
  • Identify repetitive engineering work and decide what should be automated
  • Apply strong testing, code quality and maintainability principles while moving quickly
  • Balance customer impact, reliability and engineering velocity when deciding what to build
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, product and wider business teams to understand problems and shape solutions
  • Help improve how the team uses AI to make development more effective
  • Thrive in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change and engineers have genuine ownership

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
