Full Stack Developer | C#/.NET & Python
Birmingham - Twice Per Month
Up to £60,000 + 10% Bonus
My client is building one of the UK's leading vehicle logistics platforms, combining modern software engineering, optimisation and machine learning to solve complex real-world problems at scale. As the business continues to grow, we're looking for developers from a range of backgrounds to join the team.
We're interested in three types of candidates:
Option 1: Commercial Software Engineer
- 1-3+ years of commercial C#/.NET development experience
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices
- Experience working on production systems
- Interest in learning Python and working on optimisation problems

Option 2: Research / Academic Engineer
- PhD, Postdoctoral Researcher or Lecturer
- Mathematics or Physics background
- Strong Python experience
- Looking to apply analytical and research skills within industry and happy to learn C#/.NET
Option 3: Hybrid Profile
- Commercial software development experience in C#/.NET
- Strong mathematical, scientific or analytical background
- Interested in algorithms, optimisation and data-driven problem solving
- Keen to work across both platform engineering and advanced technical challenges

What You'll Be Doing
- Building and enhancing features within a modern.NET application
- Developing scalable, reliable software used by major automotive businesses
- Working on optimisation and route-planning challenges
- Collaborating with a highly technical engineering team
- Contributing to Python-based tooling and algorithms where relevant
