About the team
OSB Group has embarked on significant technology Transformation programme and we have a new opportunity to join our Technology function team as a Full Stack Engineer and join the growing Engineering team. This role will drive the development and testing of the frontend and backend to support the delivery of the Lending roadmap in an Azure environment. The role will report into the Principal Engineer and will work alongside colleagues in the UK and India.
The role has the flexibility to be based from Wolverhampton or Chatham office and benefits from our hybrid-working policy of three days a week in the office and two days from home.
What you will be doing?
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling the future of our products and services through the use of React and Java. You'll be at the forefront of building and enhancing our applications, collaborating closely with various cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Your responsibilities will include…
- Design and develop high-quality software solutions across the full stack
- Work with cloud platforms, specifically Azure, to architect, deploy, and manage applications
- Ensure code is well-documented and adheres to established coding standards
- Integrate and optimize front-end and back-end components for seamless user experience
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues and bugs to ensure a seamless user experience
What's in it for you?
We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £47,000 - £57,000 and a competitive benefits package including:
- Annual discretionary bonus opportunity up to 17.5%
- 30 days annual leave
- Choose to contribute 3% or 5% pension, with employer contributions of 6% or 8% respectively

Do you have the skills?
We are looking for talented individuals who have the skills set out below:
- Proven experience of Full Stack engineering/development with the ability to write both frontend (React) and backend (Java) code
- Experience working with cloud computing, microservices architecture, APIs, and data management
- Track record of delivering high-quality applications and a good understanding of the full development lifecycle
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation
