Role - Full Stack Engineer

Location - London/Edinburg (Hybrid)

Type - Contract (Inside IR35)

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust full-stack web applications.
  • Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Java/J2EE and Python.
  • Build responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using Angular and/or React.
  • Design, develop, and optimize database solutions using Oracle and SQL.
  • Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and database scripts.
  • Integrate frontend applications with backend services and third-party APIs.
  • Perform application troubleshooting, debugging, performance tuning, and production support.
  • Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, coding, code reviews, testing, and deployment.
  • Ensure application security, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Follow coding standards, development best practices, and Agile methodologies.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement of applications.

  • Strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development.
  • Good knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
  • Experience with Angular and/or React.
  • Strong programming experience in Python.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle and SQL databases.
  • Good understanding of database design, SQL queries, joins, indexes, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Understanding of Git/version control and software development lifecycle.
  • Good knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and coding best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
