Runway

Runway is building a first-of-its-kind tool for teams to track, automate, and collaborate on their mobile app releases. We're already used by industry-leading mobile teams to ship some of your favorite apps for food delivery, fitness, finance, and more!

We’re a small but mighty team, and there’s a lot to do. From building out new release automations, to adding support for even more third-party integrations, to diving into entirely greenfield new areas of the platform, you’ll be working closely with the rest of the team from inception to design, planning and implementation.

We build a lot of features, and we ship them fast. As a member of the team, you’ll need to develop a finely tuned sense of prioritization - when to make tradeoffs, when to write tests, and all while keeping the end-user experience top of mind. You’ll need to be comfortable rolling with changes, owning features end-to-end, and learning on the fly when needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

We’re a distributed team with an NYC center of gravity. Our backend is written in Go, and our web application in React with Typescript (but when it comes to new hires and their prior experience, we're totally language-agnostic – we're looking for awesome engineers, period).

This role is fully remote and we welcome applicants from anywhere within 6ish hours of NYC in terms of timezone.

About You

We’re looking for people that are humble, hard working, and good team players.

There’s no room for big egos at a small startup. Everyone pitches in and is ready to roll up their sleeves to do anything and everything they can to carry the team forward. We help each other out, trust each other’s skills, and aren’t afraid to take the lead on things when necessary.

This is not a FAANG job. If you’re looking for a place where you can coast, this isn’t it. Everyone on the team works hard, learns something new every day, and gets things done. You won’t be building a small toggle hidden deep in the bowels of a monolith product. You’ll be valued, respected, and your work will matter.

We’re looking for great engineers, period. It doesn’t matter which parts of the stack you usually work in, as long as you’re keen to learn parts of the stack you’re less familiar with and to contribute across the board. And if you have experience with mobile apps, that’s a bonus – we love geeking out about the nuances of building & shipping mobile apps, and we believe that translates to an even better experience for our users.

When you apply

Please include a description of your recent experience or a resume, context on why you're looking for a new role and what would excite you in said new role, and links to anything you think will speak to your experience and interests!
