Full Stack Engineer

Near Stockport | Hybrid Working (3 days onsite)

Are you a passionate Full Stack Engineer who enjoys building modern applications, solving complex problems, and working within a collaborative Agile environment? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing technology team where you'll play a key role in developing and enhancing business-critical systems hosted on Microsoft Azure.

The Role

Reporting to the Development Lead, you'll contribute to the design, development and maintenance of both front-end and back-end applications, helping shape technical solutions and continuous improvements across the technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain scalable web applications across front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to create effective solutions from requirements.
  • Produce clean, well-documented code following best practice and Test Driven Development principles.
  • Troubleshoot, optimise and enhance applications to ensure performance, reliability and scalability.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Commercial experience as a Full Stack Developer with around 5+ years' development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of.NET, SQL, Entity Framework and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Experience working within Agile environments and using source control and DevOps practices.
  • Passion for Test First and Test Driven Development with a focus on code quality.

Desirable Experience

  • Microsoft Azure including Web Services, API Management and SQL Server.
  • Global state management tools such as Redux, Zustand or XState.
  • Mobile application deployment through Apple App Store and Google Play.
  • Experience with payment platforms and modern cloud-based architectures.
