Full Stack Product Engineer – Applied AI - Start up
London - Fully Home Based | Circa £80,000 + generous equity
The opportunity
Join an early-stage, well-funded AI company building intelligent automation products for complex enterprise workflows.
The business is entering an important growth phase, with increasing customer demand and ambitious expansion plans across Europe. It is now strengthening its engineering team to scale the product and support a growing customer base.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role combining full-stack engineering, applied AI and product ownership.
What you’ll do
- Own full-stack product features from discovery through to production.
- Work directly with customers to understand problems and turn them into effective product solutions.
- Build and improve AI-powered workflows that operate reliably in real-world environments.
- Ship rapidly while making sensible decisions around quality, scalability and technical debt.
- Debug complex issues across the application, AI systems and backend services.
- Collaborate closely with the founders, engineering, product and design.
- Contribute to the roadmap and help shape the company’s engineering culture.

What we’re looking for
- A strong full-stack engineer with evidence of building and shipping meaningful products.
- Excellent product instincts and comfort working from ambiguous requirements.
- Confidence communicating directly with customers.
- Strong engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
- A pragmatic approach to technical decisions and business outcomes.
- The ability to learn new languages, tools and domains quickly.
- An interest in AI agents and modern AI-assisted development.

Experience with AI agents, LLM systems, developer tools, automation, distributed systems or enterprise software would be valuable. Exact language experience is less important than engineering ability and learning speed.
